More Studies on David Hardy's Micronutrient Formulations† Prove Successful
In New Zealand, a series of university research studies† on micronutrients is making a significant impact on the way mental health is treated.
Dr. Julia Rucklidge, clinical psychologist at University of Canterbury, has been a frequent face in NZ media, including presenting a TEDx talk, "The Surprisingly Dramatic Role of Nutrition in Mental Health", which has more than 680,000 views online.
"In our studies with kids, they often have multiple problems, not just anxiety. We see kids with bedwetting, a lot of irritability, oppositional behaviour, temper tantrums; and we have found with our research that those types of behaviors can also be well managed with the nutrients.
Our experience with the nutrients over 10 years is that when it works – and I have to always be careful to say it doesn't work for everyone – but when it does work we see a broad range of symptoms getting better."
One of the research group's most recent publications, in the Journal of Child and Family Studies, investigated anxiety and stress in children following the Christchurch earthquakes. It found symptoms of anxiety improved when they were supplemented with specialist formulations of micronutrients.†
"We saw such robust changes in the anxiety levels of the children in that study," Dr. Rucklidge says. "Certainly the research is suggesting it's a viable way forward, with virtually no side effects."
Recently featured on Stuff.co.nz, the micronutrients are beginning to make waves internationally. Dr. Rucklidge summarizes her findings, "The children's sleep improved. They were less anxious about going to school. They seemed easier to reason with, and were better self-regulated."
Earlier this year, footage focusing on Dr. Rucklidge's research was featured on NZ Sunday:
The answer can be found in a complex formula of clinical micronutrients, formulated by Hardy Nutritionals® founder David L. Hardy. His flagship supplement, Daily Essential Nutrients is available online in powder or capsule form without a prescription.
The ingredients are all natural, including over 30 important nutrients the body can't make on its own. What's more, the micronutrients are micro-processed and balanced to each other for maximum absorption which allows them to be put to use in the body.
Parents are posting rave reviews on the company's Yotpo verified reviews feed. One parent shares, "I think this might be it! For years I have had a strong feeling that my son's oppositional attitude and negative outlook on life was based on some sort of physiological issue or deficiency...I have explored hundreds of vitamins, minerals, herbs and diets. I have also focused (almost obsessionally) on a range of issues including hydration, sleep and exercise. My approach has yielded a few minor (short lived) improvements but has probably caused more harm than good in the long run.
Thousands of hours searching the web for an answer has made me pretty battle weary. A few weeks ago I glimpsed at a couple of YouTube clips that were around the concept of Nutrition and mental illness. The one I decided to watch (and I'm so glad I did) was titled "What if Nutrition could treat mental illness?'- Julia Rucklidge.
I listened intently to the amazing studies and felt incredibly excited. After a few days of more study and excitement I ordered my first bottle of Daily Essenetial Nutrients.
The bottle arrived in Australia on Monday afternoon of this week. As I write it is Friday of the same week. In that short period of time I have seen many examples that lead me to think that something positive is happening:
1. My wife and I are getting little kisses when he leaves for school.
2. He went to the park with his younger brother on Wednesday evening and they kicked a soccer ball (getting along with each other) for 20 minutes or more (absolutely incredible!)
3. There is a calm feeling suddenly in the house.
4. On Wednesday he told us he has been invited to a friends house on the weekend (this has not happened since he started at the school 6 months ago).
5. Last night at around 9:00 pm the big PowerPoint assignment he had been working on for school over the past 2 weeks was lost after a saving error. He was upset and angry but he handled it so so much better than he would have done before.
I hope my hunch is right and these things are all related to the new regime.
Thank you for providing the product and providing so much positive and helpful documentation. It really has helped me to feel comfortable with the investment and has given us hope."
