Why is the Recommended Therapeutic Dose of Daily Essential Nutrients 12 Capsules Per Day?

Twelve capsules is a lot of pills to take, especially if you are already taking a number of psychiatric medications, like most people who suffer from mood and anxiety-related disorders. However, our previous formulation was 15 capsules of Daily Essential Nutrients. So why so many pills?

At Hardy Nutritionals®, we're focused on helping individuals achieve real-life results--so we recommend what works, not just what sounds appealing. Extensive independent research conducted on formulations co-developed+ by Hardy Nutritionals® Founder David Hardy at more than a dozen universities and medical clinics around the world has shown that the equivalent of our recommended dosage of 4 capsules 3 times per day delivers the most consistent and marked improvements in both adults and children. This scientific research has included careful safety monitoring which showed no safety concerns at the 15 capsule per day dosage. With our new concentrated formulation, we have been able to provide the same amount of vitamins and minerals in 12 capsules as we previously had in 15 capsules. The recommended dose is now 4 capsules, 3 times per day.

Some have found that they can maintain on a little less than the full therapeutic dose of 12 capsules per day (for example 10 instead of 12), after their symptoms have been eliminated for a few months. Because everyone is a little different, it's important to find a threshold that works for you. However, always remember that because our bodies rely upon the essential vitamins and minerals in Daily Essential Nutrients to perform even the most basic body functions, if you go too low your symptoms will eventually return. Some individuals have found this out the hard way. It's better to be safe than sorry by providing your body with optimal levels of essential nutrients because you're not getting the nutrition you require to maintain wellness.

Daily Essential Nutrients is like food for a starving brain.

So what is it that makes Daily Essential Nutrients so much more bulky than other multivitamin-mineral products? Here are 3 important reasons:

1) Daily Essential Nutrients contains 38 active ingredients! This gives you optimally-balanced levels of many critical nutrients in one product to best approximate a well-balanced diet with respect to nutrient content. Other multivitamin-mineral products simply don't contain nearly as many ingredients as Daily Essential Nutrients -or nearly the same levels. Learn more.

2) Optimal macro-mineral content. The macro-minerals calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus are key to the effectiveness of Daily Essential Nutrients. They are vital for proper brain and nerve function as well as for healthy bones, teeth, and muscles. Macro-minerals make up more than half of the bulk of Daily Essential Nutrients! By comparison, all the trace minerals, vitamins, and other active ingredients combined make up just 30%. Learn more.

3) NutraTek™-enhanced mineral delivery. Daily Essential Nutrients is powered by our proprietary NutraTek™-enhanced mineral delivery technology which combines each mineral with specialized organic molecules--just like nature--which allows vital nutrients to cross the blood-brain barrier and have powerful effects on the brain. This makes Daily Essential Nutrients much more bulky compared with other multivitamin-mineral products, but the never-before-seen results it delivers make it well worth the extra volume! Learn more.
