Try These "No-Cook" Recipes to Make Micronutrients Go Down Easier

When considering Daily Essential Nutrients for adults or children, one of the first questions people typically ask is, "How does it taste?".  While we would love to say that micronutrients taste amazing for everyone, the truth is, they don't.

Packing 40 ultra-absorbable nutrients into a scoop of finely ground powder is no small feat--but it can be an acquired taste.

Which is why we have compiled a list of our favorite customer submitted "no-cook" recipes, to try and make taking micronutrients a little easier for those who are unable to swallow capsules.

Daily Essential Nutrients is dairy free, soy free, sugar free, non-GMO and comes in both capsule and powder form.  While the powder form of DEN is slightly sweetened with Stevia, it can still be difficult for some to tolerate.

If you have unsuccessfully tried one of these ideas in the past, don't worry!  Many families report that they try several creative options before finding what works for them.

Quickest & Easiest:
"A Shot of DEN"

micronutrients powderDirections: Find your favorite drink and add a scoop of Daily Essential Nutrients powder to a small "shot glass" amount for quick delivery.  Most people like to use a small amount of liquid, such as almond milk, chocolate milk, or strawberry milk.  Mix about 4 ounces of liquid with one scoop of DEN and chase with water.

Meal Replacement:
"Banana Cocoa Smoothie"micronutrients smoothie

Directions:  Blend 4-6 ounces of your choice of milk with 1 scoop of Daily Essential Nutrients powder.  Add a banana (or fruit of your choice) and 1 - 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder or chocolate syrup and your choice of sweetener (optional).  This works as a smoothie or can be concentrated into a "shot" rather than a shake.

Another "Shot" Idea:
"The Nut Butter Shot"

Directions:  Blend 4 - 6 ounces of the milk of your choice with 1 spoonful of your favorite nut butter spread.  Add 1 scoop of Daily Essential Nutrients powder and enjoy!  For best results, shake well.

For a Sweeter Treat:
"Nut Butter Cup"

Another Smoothie Option:
"Fruit & Yogurt"fruit and yogurt smoothie nutrients

Directions:  Blend 1-2 cups of fresh or frozen fruit with 4-6 ounces of milk.  Add 1 cup of yogurt, 1 banana (this helps suspend the granules).  Mix in a scoop of Daily Essential Nutrients.  You may want to add sweetener such as honey for extra sweetness.

Hardy's Favorite:
