Large Double-blind Prison Study on Daily Essential Nutrients and Omega-3's

An exciting multi-center double-blind study by independent researchers comparing the effectiveness of our new, concentrated Daily Essential Nutrients and omega-3 supplements is scheduled to begin in 2016. The study will include four large groups of prison inmates, all taking identical-looking capsules without knowing whether they are 'active' or 'placebo' pills:

    • One quarter of the inmates will take Hardy Nutritionals® Daily Essential Nutrients plus an omega-3 supplement.
    • One quarter of the inmates will take Hardy Nutritionals® Daily Essential Nutrients plus placebo.
    • One quarter of the inmates will take an omega-3 supplement plus placebo.
    • One quarter of the inmates will take only placebo pills until the 'blinded' portion of the study is complete. Then they will have the opportunity to take Hardy Nutritionals® Daily Essential Nutrients plus an omega-3 supplement.

Hardy Nutritionals® Founder David Hardy recently commented on this exciting news, "Omega-3 supplements have a well-known, positive impact on mood. Our Daily Essential Nutrients delivers an even more profound effect on mood. The results of this prison study should confirm what we've already seen in practice for many years. Individuals who take our Daily Essential Nutrients with a good omega-3 supplement often see more complete results."

This exciting news was first published in a press release announcing Hardy Nutritionals® new, concentrated Essential Omegas formula.
